With the goal of supporting the sustainable long-term success of Humboldt County’s independent operators in the cannabis industry, the LiT project address the challenge of living together (LIT) and advancing common industry goals.

COOPERATIVE CANNABIS ECONOMY

A joint collaboration between Cooperation Humboldt and the Center for the Study of Cannabis and Social Policy: the Cooperative Cannabis Economy Group works to catalyze, educate, and facilitate cooperation and cooperative research and decision-making among farmers and operators. Our goals are to protect the local cannabis economy on the North Coast of California from wealth and resource extraction by conglomerates and corporations, and to promote regenerative, values-driven cannabis business.
